Canada has a population of around 33 million, in 10 million square kilometers (compared to NZ's 4 million people in 1/4 million square kilometers). Quebec City is one of the oldest cities in North America, with a population of about 1/2 a million (a little more than Wellington) Wellington saw its first Europeans round 170 years ago, (about 800 years after the explorer Kupe). Quebec City was founded 400 years ago, originally under French domain. This heritage can be seen in the ITF Quebec website - it's in French.
